Dr Eugenia Kula-Ameyaw: She is a social entrepreneur, strategist, gender expert and author who has Public Private Partnership and SME development experience. She has an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Strategy from Oxford Brookes Business School, Oxford, UK & Board Leadership Certificate from GIBS, Executive Certificates from Geneva Institute of Leadership and Public Policy, Switzerland, ITC ILO, Italy, and HIDA in Japan. She is an independent, pragmatic strategic thinker and decision maker who is engineered change processes in SA. Eugenia is a multi-skilled pro-active pioneer who thrives in starting up new things.

She has extensive board experience in organisations like Business Unity South Africa, Oil Industry and Cricket South Africa to mention the few. She has chaired various board Committees namely Transformation, Finance and Audit and Risk Committees and served in an Investment and HR Committee.

Dr Kula is well-known as an advocate for transformation in the property sector. As the Chair of Transformation at Estate Agency Affairs Board ( EAAB) she pioneered and authored Chapter 4 on Transformation in the Property Practitioners Act 22 of 2019, which is said to be the first of its kind legislation with the Transformation Chapter and Transformation Fund. She has pioneered various projects where she serves on boards. She developed a Cricket for Social Justice Concept and establishment of the Office of the Ombudsman for Cricket. That is the first of its kind concept in Cricket and South Africa. She services in the Advisory Board of Wealth Masters.

She was also a member of the Presidential Working Group focusing on building the SA economy. She has been part of various Presidential Business Delegations annually to BRICS Business Council in SA and Brazil, USA–Africa Leaders’ Summit in Washington DC and FACOC in China 2018. She represented SA in the UN Women CSW 60 in New York and presented on Economic Empowerment and was later part of the selection panel for the UN Women SADC Advisory Board. Eugenia is the founder and Chair BWOSA -Black Women Organisation South Africa with a vision to empower, position and grow Black businesses. She was judge for the inaugural Premier Business Awards and has won various empowerment Awards. She is a published author of Personal Strategy – 7 Steps to Self-Mastery and has featured on TV, radio and magazines especially property related and transformation topics. Eugenia mentors and coaches other female executives and women and her consulting company Board Dynamics Africa consults on Corporate Governance and Strategy.

In her Doctorate in Business Leadership (DBL) studies Eugenia count herself blessed to have pursued her passion in Corporate Governance, Women and Transformation. Her study constructed a framework to measure the readiness of women to participate as directors in company boards
