All of these roles were at a senior level including 5 years as CEO and 12 years at a group board level.
In addition, Robin has considerable non-executive director experience in the Charity Sector (7 years), Technology sector (8 years) Commercial Vehicle Parts (2 years).
His international experience has seen him managing sales operations in both the northern and southern hemispheres, where he has grown business substantially throughout his career. He is extremely experienced in emerging markets in Africa, The Middle East and Asia Pac where he has developed considerable new business and managed complex client relationships throughout.
Robin has experience with developing relationships with a broad range of blue chip companies in the telecoms, IT/IS sectors, manufacturing and technology clients, transport and vehicle manufacture, public sector and utilities groups and Natural Recourse clients in oil, gas, minerals and wind sectors.
Robin is also a Professor at two leading UK universities where has has contributed to research and teaching excellence for over 23 years. He has academic qualifications at both undergraduate level and post graduate levels and has developed a number of ground breaking academic modules focussed on business development, innovation and technology commercialisation and also business strategy. He is an experienced mentor and has been responsible for mentoring students and business practitioners both within the UK and internationally.
